2010 Kia Forte Koup

One of the few surprises at the New York show was Kia's 2-door Forte Koup, unveiled at a very festive press conference. In this depressing economic climate, it was good to see one manufacturer having some fun.

And there's reason to be in such a good mood. The Kia Forte, shown as a sedan in February at the Chicago auto show, was well received. And this new coupe adds some character to the somewhat ordinary sedan. The Forte Koup doesn't quite live up to the concept revealed a year earlier at New York, but it should give the Honda Civic and Scion tC some competition.

Unlike the sedan that is offered in LX, EX and SX trim levels, the Koup will be sold as an EX and an SX only. The EX will come with the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine making 156 bhp and 144 lb.-ft. of torque. Transmission choices are a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic The more sporting SX model with stiffer suspension is powered by the powerful 2.4-liter four rated at 173 bhp and 168 lb.-ft. of torque. The SX gets a standard 6-speed manual or optional 5-speed automatic.

The Forte Koup shares its independently sprung underpinnings with the front-wheel-drive sedan, so it has the same 104.3-in. wheelbase. But overall, it's slightly shorter and lower, yet there is still seating for five and a trunk ready for 12.6 cubic feet of stuff.

The SX is the car for enthusiasts with standard equipment that includes sport seats, a tilt and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, metal pedals and metal-finish trim. All Forte Koups get standard Bluetooth connectivity and a 6-speaker audio system that features a USB jack for iPod and MP3 compatibility.

Expect to see the Kia Forte Koup at dealers by the end of the year

Honda's Hovering Concept Car

rench industrial and automotive designer Jonathan Mahieddine has created quite a stir on numerous popular tech-oriented websites with his Honda Fuzo, a futuristic design for a flying car.

The young, creative designer envisions the Fuzo as a lightweight and sturdy vehicle — thanks to extensive use of Kevlar, carbon fiber and carbon nanotubes — that would be capable of traveling through the air at a top speed of 350 mph, thanks to four powerful turbine engines. It would also be able to take off and land vertically, like Britain's famous Harrier jump jet and the U.S. military's own V-22 Osprey. What's more, upon landing, the Fuzo would extend its retractable wheels and tool around town like a normal automobile.

Other elements Mahieddine envisions for the Fuzo are a GPS system that not only guides the car to its predetermined destination but also communicates with other GPS-enabled vehicles for collision avoidance. Additionally, airbags would be placed both inside and outside of the vehicle to both minimize injury to its occupants and cushion the blow to pedestrians or non-GPS-equipped vehicles.

Is this flying car a glimpse at what our future automobiles will be like? Mahieddine tells us that the Fuzo was a design he submitted to Honda last year when he applied for a position with the Japanese automobile manufacturer. Honda — or another car manufacturer — would be wise to hire this visionary; perhaps his bold thinking is just what the automotive industry needs to move toward a brighter future.

2009 Ford Flex

It wasn't too long ago that minivans reigned supreme as the go-to choice of growing families across the country. In recent years, however, minivan sales have declined due to the arrival of seven-passenger crossover SUVs, which allow moms and dads to look and feel a little more stylish while transporting their broods. These crossovers don't offer as much utility, however. So what if an automaker attempted to marry the "cool factor" of a crossover SUV and the unbeatable practicality of a minivan's shoebox-like shape? The result would probably end up something like the 2009 Ford Flex.

With styling inspired by vintage vacuum cleaners and an overall shape that resembles a super-sized cross between a first-generation Scion xB and a Mini Cooper Clubman, it's safe to say there's nothing else quite like the Ford Flex on the road today. Though the Flex shares its underpinnings and powertrain with the capable but anonymously styled Taurus X, its daring design sets it apart from the legions of look-alike crossovers roaming our roads. Fortunately for Ford, the Flex's appeal is much more than skin-deep. For example, it offers one of the highest-quality interiors we've seen from Ford in a long time, replete with plentiful soft-touch surfaces and an expensive-looking design. Ford's innovative Sync MP3 player and phone interface system is also available, as is a Vista sunroof, which consists of four fixed glass panels that brighten up the cabin for second- and third-row occupants. Add a reasonably powerful 3.5-liter V6 to the mix, along with available all-wheel drive, and you've got all the ingredients of a crowd-pleasing people mover.

Featuring conventional rear doors instead of the maximally convenient sliding variety, the Flex nonetheless constitutes a compelling package for families who just can't stomach the idea of rolling in a blatantly utilitarian conveyance. Seven adults can fit comfortably inside its elongated cabin, and access to the third row is a cinch with the optional power-folding second-row seats, though a bit of a pain without them. The second-row seats also slide fore and aft, while an optional refrigerator inside the rear console keeps perishables cool while driving. With the rear seats flipped down and the second row flipped forward, the Flex offers a large cargo area, though minivans are still considerably more capacious.

It's hard to predict whether the new Ford Flex will be a success, but Ford deserves credit for boldly bringing such an unconventional yet well-thought-out offering into the marketplace. In theory, the Flex should appeal to any family looking for a winning combination of panache and practicality. We suggest that consumers looking at either a minivan or a large crossover SUV give it strong consideration.

For Pricing information, see our Pricing page.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options

The 2009 Ford Flex crossover wagon is offered in three different trim levels. The base SE is only available with front-wheel drive and comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, rear park assist, a 60/40-split second-row bench, a 50/50-split third-row bench that folds into the floor, rear climate controls, a power driver seat and a six-speaker CD stereo with an auxiliary audio jack. The midlevel SEL, available with either front- or all-wheel drive, adds upgraded exterior trim and 18-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, power heated front seats, leather upholstery (vinyl for the third row) and a 10-speaker stereo with satellite radio. The top-of-the-line Flex Limited, also available with either front- or all-wheel drive, boasts 19-inch wheels, xenon headlights, a power liftgate, power-adjustable pedals, a memory function for the driver seat, perforated leather upholstery and Ford's exclusive Microsoft-developed Sync multimedia interface.

Many of the Limited's features are available as options on the SEL, and the Sync system is also optional on the SE. Additional options include second-row captain's chairs (heated on the Limited), the four-panel Vista sunroof, a towing package, keyless ignition/entry and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. The Limited can be equipped with a touchscreen navigation system featuring voice recognition, an integrated back-up camera and Sirius Travel Link, which provides real-time traffic, weather and other information. A white- or silver-painted roof is also available.

For more Style information, see our Compare Styles page.

Powertrains and Performance

The Flex is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that churns out 262 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only available transmission. The Flex is either front- or all-wheel drive, although the latter is available only on the SEL and Limited. We managed a respectable 8.8-second 0-60 gallop in the AWD Flex. EPA fuel economy for the front-wheel-drive Flex is 17 mpg city/24 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined, which is on par with GM's full-size crossovers. Opting for AWD drops those numbers by about 1 mpg.

For more Performance Data, see our Specifications page.

Safety

Standard safety features on the 2009 Ford Flex include antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.

For more Safety information, see our Safety page.

Interior Design and Special Features

The 2009 Ford Flex's interior quality is top-notch, with abundant soft-touch materials and an attractive, upscale design. The spacious layout affords true seven-passenger seating -- even the third row is hospitable for full-size adults, offering surprisingly generous leg- and headroom, although the second-row seat tracks impinge on third-row foot room, and the third-row armrests aren't padded like the others. The available Microsoft Sync system imbues the Flex with a high-tech character, offering trick features like advanced voice-recognition software for MP3 players as well as cell phones. Other intriguing options such as the Vista roof, Sirius Travel Link and rear-console refrigerator extend the Flex's appeal.

One notable misstep, however, is the Flex's lack of a telescoping steering column -- an inexcusable omission at this price point. Our longer-legged editors found that they had to adopt a straight-armed driving position in order to reach the wheel. Also, the Flex's seats may be on the narrow side for larger folks. Moreover, the Flex's maximum cargo capacity of 83 cubic feet, which is more than adequate for most purposes, is smaller than GM's large crossovers and positively dwarfed by that of any minivan.

For more Interior Features information, see our Specifications page.

Driving Impressions

On the road, the 2009 Ford Flex gets the job done in a competent if uninvolving way. Though its prodigious length is always apparent, the Flex handles securely for such a large vehicle, albeit with a fair amount of play in the steering. The suspension provides a forgiving ride, cushioning impacts with impressive refinement. While acceleration is adequate overall, the 3.5-liter V6 feels rather soft off the line. The long-travel brake pedal doesn't necessarily inspire confidence, but our AWD test vehicle stopped from 60 mph in a satisfactory 128 feet.

Infiniti QX56 2009 B6 Armored Car

Armormax® is the ultimate in light weight ballistic armoring material. It was developed and is owned by International Armoring Corporation. Armormax® is the lightest opaque armor in the industry; it reduces the added weight on a vehicle by 60%, making it the lightest weight armoring system in the world. Armormax® is composed of a combination of a variety of synthetic fibers. The Armomax® composite technology is ten times stronger than ballistic steel – pound for pound!

Transparent Armor (Glass):

Referred to as Lightweight Transparent Armor or LTA®, LTA® is the material used by International Armoring Corporation for armoring the glass in all its vehicles. LTA® glass provides a superior level of protection against the toughest security concerns, from random acts of street violence to Head of State protection. LTA® is International Armoring Corporation’s ballistic glass of choice. The replacement is done by matching the vehicle’s original curved glass with the curved LTA® glass, providing maximum security, superior optics, a light weight replacement and a longer service life.

The LTA® Glass is composites of glass and polycarbonate substrates laminated with inter layers. This is done to absorb the energy from various ballistic threats. The multi-layer glass is used to prevent spalling upon ballistic impact. To learn more about the protection capabilities of the LTA® glass please refer to the Protection Levels page for clarification.

LTA® Glass is:

  • Distortion Free
  • Designed to look like conventional glass
  • Lighter and thinner than all-glass laminates or air-gap designs
  • Unaffected by temperature fluctuations
  • Offers dependable protection against a variety of lethal weapons

Elitus Overlap System:

International Armoring Corporation’s commitment to continuous research and development assures clients the most technologically advanced armored passenger vehicles available. One example of such is International Armoring Corporation’s Elitus® Overlap System. This newly molded armoring process called Elitus® demonstrates IAC’s attention to detail and understanding that complete safety lies in the details.

Run Flat Tires:

IAC can replace all existing tires in an armored vehicle with Run Flat tires. The Run Flat Tire System allows the vehicle to travel up to 60 miles at 60 mph (depending on road conditions) on deflated tires. This system is composed of a ballistic rubberized plastic “roller” ring that is designed, molded and installed inside each tire around the rim. Once the tires are deflated, the solid rubber ring acts as a backup tire, becoming an airless spare within the tire.

Suspension:

The suspension of the vehicle, along with shocks and brakes must be modified when a vehicle is armored. International Armoring Corporation recommends its clients begin the armoring process with a heavier duty vehicle. This will help with the modification process of upgrading the suspension, shocks and brakes later on. The modification is done with a standard package that may vary depending on the needs of the client.

Bumpers:

Dual Ram Bumpers can be added to a client’s armored vehicle. They are concealed behind both the front and the rear bumpers. This option allows each vehicle to ram its way out of a dangerous situation without causing inoperable damage to the armored vehicle. In addition, this modification prohibits corners of the vehicle from being rammed into the tires, thus making the armored vehicle inoperable.

Optima Bullet Resistant Battery:

An important feature to be added into any armored vehicle, would be the replacement of the battery with an Anti-Ballistic Battery. International Armoring Corporation replaces original batteries with a dry-cell Optima® battery. This replacement eliminates the ever present threat of an exploding acid based battery causing serious damage to the vehicle’s engine and making it inoperable. This is a standard feature in all armoring packages.

Fuel Tank and Floor Protection:

International Armoring Corporation’s dedication to bring tomorrow’s technology to today’s vehicles is evident in the armoring process. An example of such is the attention to detail. To ensure the safest vehicles, IAC protects the floor of the vehicle with a multi-layered ballistic nylon armor that is used to seal the entire floor of the vehicle. It is designed to absorb bomb fragmentation; the armor is concealed under the carpet and seats of the vehicle, maintaining the original appearance of the vehicle. Armor is also placed surrounding the fuel tank of each vehicle to create an anti-explosive fuel tank.

3rd Hinge Door Support:

3rd Hinge Door support is added to level B7 armored vehicles and whenever possible. A complete structure modification is done to support the weight added by the armor material. This includes reinforcement of pillar posts and hinges. Along with door support, the vehicle is modified with high pressure heavy duty shocks, and an upgraded suspension. All modification is done to help the armored vehicle handle and look as originally possible.

  • 2009 Chrysler Sebring Sedan

Not that long ago, Chrysler earned a reputation for producing great-looking cars. Somehow the Sebring slipped through the design process — it seems to try to incorporate design cues from many different past models and the result is simply unattractive. Unfortunately, the interior does not alter this view — it contains some of the cheapest-looking plastic I have seen on a car. The driver's seat is quite uncomfortable; however, the rear seat does provide plenty of legroom. Power and handling are underwhelming, but there are a few redeeming factors. Fuel mileage showed in the mid-20s in city driving, and this model was equipped with Chrysler's MyGig system for storing music on a hard drive, as well as with Bluetooth connectivity, which is easy to set up. Navigation and live traffic are also nice features. Unfortunately, none of this changes the fact that the Sebring sedan makes it easy for consumers to dismiss Chrysler — something the company really can't afford right now. – Perry Stern

As much as I tried to like the Sebring, it didn't make a strong impression. The front hood's grooved styling was not attractive and seemed to be from a leftover parts bin from the Chrysler Crossfire. The "rental car interior" is better now than in the past, but still need improvements. For instance, most cars these days have steering-wheel controls to adjust the radio, but the Sebring was lacking. I was able to get 24 mpg in mixed driving from the 4-cylinder engine, but the car was equipped with an antiquated 4-speed automatic. A 5-speed automatic should be able to generate more fuel efficiency. Nevertheless, the car was comfortable driving around town and small enough to maneuver through traffic. But at $28K, the Sebring seemed pretty expensive for its segment. –Joe Chulick

The Chrysler Sebring is simply awful. To my eyes, it is the ugliest car on sale today. The styling themes that suit the Dodge Magnum look awful on the smaller Sebring. Unfortunately, the ugly isn't only on the outside, as the interior is just as bad. When so many American cars are superior to the best that the world has to offer, it is hugely disappointing to drive the Sebring, which barely qualifies as mediocre. The Sebring reminds me of cars made before the last 10 years of improvement. The harsh, squared-off interior looks cheap and a little gaudy. From the driver's seat, the Sebring feels like a rental car; i.e., built to a price and merely functional instead of inspiring or rewarding. – Paul Hagger

    Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

What is it? The Ralliart is an addition to the Lancer line that is wedged between the everyday Lancer small sedan and its sportier alter ego, the Lancer Evolution (better known as the Evo). The Ralliart borrows some styling cues and important components from the Evo. Under the hood is a 235-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Mated to that is a automatic manual transmission that can run in programmed automatic modes or like a manual gearbox when using paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Like the Evolution, the drivetrain of the Ralliart is all-wheel drive. A new active center differential apportions power fore and aft and both front and rear axles have limited-slip differentials. Sporty Recaro seats, Brembo brakes, and HID xenon headlights are optional.

What is new or notable? One high-tech feature is a navigation system with a 30-gigabyte hard drive and a high-end audio system.

CR's Take: While the Subaru WRX became the most popular Impreza, Mitsubishi has forced buyers to choose between the pedestrian base model, and the not-so-cheap all-out performance Evolution. The new Ralliart may prove to be the sweet spot with performance and price in the middle.

    2007 Mercedes-Benz SLR 722

    Mercedes-Benz SLR 722 specs
    Top Speed: 209 mph / 337 kph
    0-60 mph: 3.6 seconds
    Engine: Supercharged 5.5-liter V-8
As a part of Mercedes Benz' victory during the year of 1955Mille Milgia, the manufacturer built the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition. According to the experts at the company, the name was actually based on the starting number that was given to the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR. There is something special about the Mercedes Benz 300 SLR that this vehicle was that that putted a milestone and a new wave of victory for the company when it was driven by Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson.

The all new Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition has all the qualities of an ideal racing supercar. It is refined in many respects and this lovely sporty car has more output, a tailor-made suspension configuration and an unquestionably lavishly designed interior meeting all the sports need.

The Benz once again rocked the automobile industry and it continued its tradition of serving the best. The all new model Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition is homage by Mercedes Benz to the memorable victory won by the British racing legend Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson in a Mercedes Benz 300 SLR with starting number 77, indicating a start time at 0722 hours at the Mille Miglia in the year of 1955.

The idea was derived from there but in this brand new version of the sporty car, the supercharged with 5.5-litre V8 engine. This powerful engine is hand-built in the AMG engine shop in Affalterbach and generates 478 kW and 650 hp. The kind of force or response you get from this high-performance engine is magnificent and it is an immediate response to movements of the accelerator. The response also brings the unique combination of your foot’s gentle pressure on the accelerator, roaring sound of V8 engine and highly emphatic torque buildup.

The performance from this swift runner Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition is containing amazing figures that are even outstanding for a high-end sports car. Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition accelerates from standstill to 100kmph in just 3.6 seconds and amazingly, it can shoot you up to 200kmp in just 10.2 seconds. The company claims that Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition can climb the figure of 337kmph as its maximum speed, quite above the 334kmph that was achieved by the previous version of SLR. The measurement of the car goes 181.6 X 74.4 X 48.8 inches in length, width and height respectively. This gorgeous sports car weighs about 3800 lb or 1724 kg.

You have an excellent grip of this sexy sporty car on the track you drive it on. Handling characteristics are worth for the racetracks meeting all the requirements for one to be winner. The Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition is provided by the sophisticated suspension along with broad 19-inch light-alloy wheels. It has a stiffer damper configuration and a 10-millimeter lower body that has solid grip on the road due to its flat base. The larger disc brakes with a diameter of 390 mm ensure excellent braking advantages and still your car within few meters even though you are on high-speeds.

An astounding Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition will drive you like an F1 car with its sneeze and you changed direction type of steering and this sporty car gives the kind of ride quality you will need to keep you alert in a 70 lap car race! The sleek and trimmed body of the car is extremely composed at high speeds and it has a practical sized boot. The performance you get out of your dynamic Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition is breathtaking as you shall expect and while the entire world is left far back in its stayed and governable plod along, you have might have jaw dropped with its realm of the lightning speed in just few seconds.

There are certain features that support the car to gain high speed with minimum resistance to the force of the wind. The entire model of this sports car is designed aerodynamically, it might as well be a diamond-encrusted bullet and because of that special front spoiler and proximity to the tarmac, Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition's grip to the track is nothing less than the magnet.

It goes without saying that Mercedes is fair enough in their part safety and security in any of its product or model. They would hardly cut any corners with their half a million Flagship models across the world till today! The basic security amenities would surely include steel-reinforced pillars, carbon fibre crash elements, rollover bars etc. The car is also secured with airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners.

If you are always interested in some smart business, this is something interesting to know. If you are already owning a Ferrari 599 GTB and therefore already have an exciting outing lined-up, what if you are used to the smooth and exhilarating handling and the way you might feed the steering wheel instead of it biting you back, let us know something here. Why to have carbon fibre when one can get practically the equal performance with an aluminum monocoque? Here, you can obviously do that. It can be almost double the price but it surely is exotic, besides how many other shmucks will be getting Ferrari!

Mercedes is well known for its customer service and hospitality. Probably that is why, most of the costumers or Mercedes car owners feel proud to have the product and they are fully satisfied with the great service the Mercedes provide to them. Each of the customers is treated personally and each query or feedback is handled carefully. Therefore, before the sales release date of Mercedes Benz SLR 722 Edition, customers and some selected people would have the advance opportunity to appraise the new sports model. That was to mark the foundation of the worldwide 'SLR Club' at gorgeous Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, Southern France.

This is an exclusive community in which, SLR customers automatically become members, this biggie club offers an attractive platform for many glorious and outstanding events those are related to the entire SLR series. In these events, the customers owning SLR are highly benefited and are offered various schemes on the regular basis. There is another exciting feature that the SLR club feature is SLR's Safety and Speed Academy. This academy has special driver training courses and related seminars with experienced trainers and advisors.

    New 2009 Lincoln Navigator L

One of the most popular full-size luxury SUVs, the 2009 Lincoln Navigator L sets the bar with distinctive exterior styling, versatility, towing power, and a swath of luxury features.

Available as a standard Navigator, or the stretched Navigator L, both trim levels offer roomy interiors and lots of cargo room. The latter adds nearly 25 more cubic feet of space behind the third-row seats and 128.2 cubic feet with the second- and third-row seats down. Either trim level is available in a two-wheel drive (4x2) or four-wheel drive (4x4) configuration.

The Navigator L is powered by a 5.4-liter, 300-horsepower SOHC V-8 engine creating a prodigious 365 pounds-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic transmission for quick acceleration and buttery-smooth shifts. With a properly-equipped tow package, the Navigator L can haul up to 8,700 pounds.

Every Navigator L model comes equipped with first-in-class AdvanceTrac® with class-exclusive Roll Stability Control. Combined with Control Trac® 4WD, you can conquer everything from extreme off-road conditions and low-speed towing, to extreme weather conditions in your everyday commute. HID headlamps, power moonroof, and power rear liftgate come standard.

The only vehicle in its class to earn the government’s highest five-star front crash-test rating nine years in a row, the Navigator L offers unparalleled protection for all occupants. Advanced protection features include the Personal Safety System® with dual-stage, dual front airbags, first-row seat-mounted side airbags, and advanced safety belts and energy-absorbing steering column. The Safety Canopy™ System includes side curtain airbags in the first, second, and third rows for optimal passenger safety. The Reverse Sensing System allows you to back up with confidence, alerting you to objects behind the vehicle. Front Park Assist, capless fuel system and rain-sensing wipers are standard for 2009.

Interior appointments are vast, with driver and front passenger heated/cooled seats, standard leather trimmed front seats with 10-way power adjustment, and PowerFold™ Third-Row Seats, adding flexibility and volume to the cargo area. The new innovative SYNC system allows you to control your cell phone and MP3 player with simple voice commands, giving you complete control over in-cabin communications and entertainment Dual zone electronic automatic temperature control with auxiliary climate control is standard, and a DVD-based navigation system with voice activation, touch screen, and six-disc in-dash CD changer is optional on all models.

When it comes to power, cargo/passenger space, cutting-edge technology and luxurious appointments in a full-size SUV, the 2009 Lincoln Navigator L is at the head of the class.

    New 2009 Honda Pilot

As far as crossover SUV’s go, the 2009 Honda Pilot flies above the competition with its power, seating capacity and safety features. Improvements to the interior and exterior and a new trim level give you numerous reasons why you should be driving a Pilot.

The Pilot offers four models to choose from; the standard LX, the semi-premium EX and EX-L and the ultra premium and brand new Touring. Each trim is available in 4-wheel drive and all come equipped with 3.5-liter, 250-horsepower V6 engines. Fuel economy is better, but average at best for all models at 17/23/19 MPG for city/highway/combined. Three rows of seats accommodate eight passengers and a Class III trailer hitch tows up to 4,500 pounds. All models include all-disc antilock brakes, an electronic stability system and side-impact and curtain airbags for all three rows of seats. Hill Start Assist keeps the Pilot from rolling backward on inclines and Speed-Sensitive Volume Control (SVC) adjusts the volume depending on exterior noises.

New exterior features include a tailgate with lift-up glass hatch making it easier for you to access the cargo section. Rectangular headlights border a six-sided new-look grille and compliment the box-shaped body.

The LX has a plethora of quality standard features, but it’s not until you get to the EX and EX-L that you begin to get an idea of the Pilot’s potential. The EX comes with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, Tri-zone Automatic Climate Control with Humidity Control and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Pilot is ready to carry your growing family with Lower Anchors and Tether for Children (LATCH), which anchors up to four children.

The EX-L comes equipped with a moonroof, acoustic windshield, optional DVD rear entertainment system, leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats and a 512-watt AM/FM/6-Disc sound system with 10 speakers and subwoofer.

If the EX-L wasn’t enough, the top-of-the-line Touring represents the pinnacle of crossover SUV innovation. Features include a power tailgate, 17-inch alloy wheels, side-mirror-integrated turn signals, Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with voice recognition and rear view camera and MP3/auxilary input jack and USB audio interface connectivity.

The 2009 Honda Pilot successfully blends dependability, safety, power, space, innovation and style into four models that make it impossible to pass up.
